Euge Groove
Born Steven Eugene Grove November 27, 1962 in Hagerstown, Maryland. He began playing piano in the second grade and turned to the saxophone at the age of nine or ten. Eugene graduated from the University of Miami's School of Music 1985, where he became interested in jazz.
He remained in Miami and performed with the band Expose, where
he can be heard on the group's 1987 number one single "Seasons Change." Euge moved to Los Angeles and performed with Tower of Power for about four years.
Euge latest album S7VEN LARGE (2012 Shanachie Entertainment) is by far his best with performances from guests Peter White, Rick Braun, Jeff Golub, Gregg Karukas, and Paul Brown.
Euge has performed world tours with Joe Cocker, Tina Turner, Eros Ramazotti, Richard Marx, Tower of Power and Huey Lewis and the News.
